What is YE-MUN? What is behind the hyphen "-"?"

YE-MUN (Youth Empowerment Model United Nations) has become an intellectual playground for every student across VietNam. At YE-MUN, every participant will have an opportunity to debate various socio-economic issues and have a deep insight into the nuances of international affairs. YE-MUN promises to endow our participants with fruitful extra-curricular skills, which accommodate their journey of growing up as global citizens. The hyphen “-” between “YE” and “MUN” indicates our utmost mission: Becoming a bridge guiding students on their journey to conquer the highest steps of the success ladder. Therefore, we are appreciative of every student devoting themselves to the “big Greenland” - YE-MUN, where your potential - the root will develop as a gorgeous flower in full bloom
Time and date of the Main Conference?

YE-MUN Main Conference will be held in August. For more information about the exact dates on which the conference takes place, please follow our website as well as our Facebook page.
Where will YE-MUN 2024 Conference be held?

YE-MUN 2024 will be held in Phu Yen. Information about the exact venue will be announced on our website and Facebook page as soon as it is available.
How many people will attend the Conference?

The number of attendees participating in YE-MUN 2024 is based on the number of committees and councils. For the past years, YE-MUN has welcomed nearly 200 participants across VietNam in charge of every position at YE-MUN. In 2024, YE-MUN comprises 4 committees and councils in total. The capacity would be up to 250 participants at most.
What positions are available at YE-MUN 2024?

YE-MUN 2024 Main Conference welcomes the appearance of Two main positions: Delegates and Observers. Each position takes over specific missions.
How can I join YE-MUN?

YE-MUN will organize the assessment process to welcome new participants. The process consists of two rounds: the application form & the interview, on which we will base our evaluation and give informed consideration.
Will the inexperienced have any disadvantages?

Definitely not. We base our assessment on the applicant’s ability and performance showcased through the application form and the interview rounds.
Fees to register form?

Form Registration is free to all attendees. However, details regarding fees for participating in YE-MUN will be announced via our Facebook page & website.
Is transportation and accomodation provided?

Judging the far-reaching influence of YE-MUN on the national Model UN Community, delineated by how YE-MUN has successfully attracted more than 200 participants across Vietnam, we are pleased to assist participants who are not Phu Yen residents in finding the most suitable homestay, catering with participants’ demand for price affordability and flexibility with the conference.
Does YE-MUN provide any training session for participants who wish to know more about MUN?

YE-MUN provides training sessions for delegates who want to be more confident before entering the main conference room.
What languages are acceptable at YE-MUN conference?

Participants are required to speak English or Vietnamese during the conference sessions depending on the conference exquisites. During the Vietnamese committees, delegates and observers are allowed to speak Vietnamese due to the peculiarity of their committee.
What kind of documents are provided for participants?

At YE-MUN, we provide document prior to the conferences including the Main Conference that are a Guidebook to help participants gain deeper insight into the topic and a Handbook to inform them of what is available at YE-MUN 2024 and rules of procedure.
